    We owned a Scottish Terrier who passed away in 2005 at only 5 years and are looking to find another pet quality bitch with a healthy lineage. We have no interest in breeding. Your dogs have the same beautiful overall appearance that our girl had. I hope to make phone contact about the possibility of getting one of your puppies...maybe next spring? All the Best, Dave and Margie Rehmeyer

    :)We have been owned by a Scotty for 14 years. She is still happy, loving, muley as ever but the best friend and companion ever. Last week, the vet told us that her kidney function was down to 25% and that we should change her diet removing all the things hat she loves (primarily meat and any treats). 6 years ago we were told that she probably had Cushings disease and that we should watch and prepare ourselves for the inevitable. She recently celebrated her 14th. birhday, and is still happy, relatively active (for an old girl) and quite healthy looking (24 lbs.) We decided that we are not going to upset her at this stage by making changes to her life style. She is a Scotty, through and through, and is the best owner one could ever wish for. When its time, it will be her decision and her terms. Right now, she is lying with her back pushed against my foot, snoring and happy! Long Live Scotty's!!

    My husband and I just had to put our beloved 10 year old Scottie "Shim" to sleep a few months ago. He had bladder cancer. We are lost without him. Shim was with me everyday, we never went anywhere on vacation with out him. He kept me going when I was sick and again when I had an accident. We both think it is time for another one or maybe two. Scotties are wonderful. I hope you can help. Marcia

    We said "good bye" to Dustin Scott McTavish (Dusty) the day before Thanksgiving. He had been a cherished family member for 12 years. We definately will be ready for another Scot - as soon as the weather improves... Maybe even 2 pups --or 2 rescues who need to stay together... Anyone have any thoughts .... Also, I have tried to join cyberscots... but when I click on to join, i get "web page expired"... not the cyberscots page, but the page i am directed to to join... can any one help me. ***Reply Rosslyn*** Betsy.. I didn't have any problem accessing the page...try it again. Another site with interesting news and information is http://scottishterrierdogs.blogspot.com/ Have you contacted any Scottish Terrier rescue groups? The link for the Tennessee Rescue is.. http://www.scottierescue.com/

    I just lost my 13 year old Scottie Shamus to "old age" and my 9 year old rescue Scottie TJ to "kidney disease" within 24 hours of each other. I'm looking for two Scottie puppies to ease this heartbreak. Your website is beautiful and enjoyed all the pictures but most of all your Scottie Christmas party....and I thought I was the only one who wore Scottie clothing!! Do you have or know of reputable Scottie breeders within the Delaware, Maryland or eastern Pennsylvania area? Would appreciate your advice. ***Reply Rosslyn*** Joan.. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. If you will email me, I will forward you some east coast breeders contact info.

    Just found your site and was looking at your Christmas pictures. Where did you find that wonderful Scottie Christmas rug that man is holding ? And all that fabric from those ladies vest ? It is pretty hard to find unusal scottie things here. Thanks, Happy New Year. Dianne ***Reply*** Rosslyn... I'm not sure where they came up with the fabric, the items were donated to be auctioned for the Tennessee Rescue. You can purchase the scottie holiday rugs at the following link. I ordered three of them and they shipped quickly. http://www.americanblinds.com/products/rugs/product_detail.asp?prsku=109&minprice=49.99&maxprice=49.99&sterm=BZ&P=RU&results=1&N=4294955199+4289957891&sval=Holiday&cm_re=A%2D%5F%2DTop+Nav%2D%5F%2DArea+Rugs

 The Power of the Dog

There is sorrow enough in the natural way
From men and women to fill our day;
But when we are certain of sorrow in store
Why do we always arrange for more?
Brothers and sisters I bid you beware
Of giving your heart to a dog to tear.

Rudyard Kipling
